2008 "CRUISE DOWN MEMORY LANE"
SATURDAY -- JUNE 14, 2008
(RAIN DATE: SUNDAY, JUNE 15 @ 1P.M.)

* EVENT RULES *
 

* OPEN TO:  
         All AMERICAN-MADE vehicles 1973 and older, Any year CORVETTE,
         Any AMERICAN-MADE altered/highly modified vehicles after 1973,
         Any AMERICAN-MADE 1973 or newer cars with recognized club affiliations
         and ONLY if you enter WITH your organization.

 *    NO motorcycles or bicycles.

 *    NO partially-primered vehicles (full primer is O.K.).

 *    NO FOREIGN CARS, even if American-powered, unless it's 1948 or older and American powered. (Street Rod Category)

 *    Gates open 5:00 P.M. and close 6:30 P.M.  If show area is filled prior to 6:30, gates will close at whatever time space
         becomes unavailable.

*    There will be TWO entrance gates on Landis Avenue.  One at East Avenue and one at West Avenue. 
        Toys for Tots donations will be accepted at both gates.

*   The "Cruise" on the Avenue will be between 8:30 and 10:00 P.M.

*   NO MOVING OF VEHICLES until the "Cruise" begins at 8:30 P.M.

*    ALL vehicles MUST be driven through the gate. Trailers will not be allowed in the show area.

*   All participants will receive an official participant window card.  You must have this card on display in your front window
  in the show area and during the "Cruise."

*   NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES OR DRUGS ALLOWED!!

*   All New Jersey Motor Vehicle laws will be in effect and enforced. 
   Safety is our primary concern.  Careless or reckless driving will not be tolerated!!
   The Vineland Police Department will issue citations for careless driving or reckless endangerment. 
   Summonses will also be issued to spectators who incite reckless endangerment by urging burnouts!!

 *  There will be no special parking arrangements of any kind the day of the show!

*  5:00 P.M. --- GATES OPEN --- WELCOME!!!
     NOTE: ENTRANCE GATES ARE LOCATED ON LANDIS AVENUE AT EAST AVENUE
     AND WEST AVENUE.  CRUISE STAFF MEMBERS WILL ACCEPT TOYS FOR TOTS®.

*  6:30 P.M. -  GATES CLOSE (EARLIER IF SHOW AREA IS FILLED)

*   5:00 TO 8:30 P.M. - CAR  STATIC  DISPLAY              
       GREET YOUR FELLOW CRUISERS, EAT AT THE MANY FOOD VENDORS ALONG THE AVENUE. 
        BECAUSE OF THE VOLUME OF SPECTATORS, ALL VEHICLES MUST REMAIN PARKED AT THIS TIME.

* 8:30 TO 10:00 P.M. - OFFICIAL "CRUISE" ON THE AVENUE. 
ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE A FLYER AS THEY ENTER THE GATE WITH THIS
YEAR’S CRUISE INSTRUCTIONS.   PLEASE READ IT.  PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE
LARGE NUMBER OF SPECTATORS.  AGAIN, SAFETY IS OUR MAIN CONCERN!!!

 * 10:00 P.M. - END OF OFFICIAL CRUISE AND THE "CRUISE
  DOWN MEMORY LANE" FOR ANOTHER YEAR.                        
   LANDIS AVENUE OPENS TO REGULAR TRAFFIC.   OBSERVE ALL TRAFFIC LIGHTS
     AND RULES!!!  WE HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT TIME AND WE'LL SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!! 

HAVE A SAFE TRIP HOME!!!!

     From Philadelphia/Walt Whitman-Ben Franklin Bridges:

          Route 42 South to Route 55 South

          Route 55 South to Exit 32A (Route 56 East-Vineland)

          Route 56 East (Landis Avenue) East to Gate at West Avenue

 

     From Delaware/Maryland via Delaware Memorial Bridge:

          Route 40 East to Route 55 South

          Follow directions for Route 55, above

 

     From Trenton and North:

          Interstate 295 South to Exit for Route 42 (Atlantic City)

          Route 42 South to Route 55

          Follow directions for Route 55, above

 

     From North Jersey and New York, via the New Jersey Turnpike:

          NJT South to Exit 7 or 4

          Interstate 295 South to Exit for Route 42 (Atlantic City)

          Route 42 South to Route 55

          Follow directions for Route 55, above

 

     From North Jersey and New York, via the Garden State Parkway:      

          GSP South to Exit 38 (Atlantic City Expressway)

          A/C Expressway West to Exit for US Route 40 West

          Route 40 West to County Route 540 at Richland, NJ

          Route 540 West (CR540 becomes Landis Avenue) to Gate at East
          Avenue.

 

     From Atlantic City Area:

          A/C Expressway West to Exit for US Route 40 West, or,

          Route 40 West to County Route 540 at Richland, NJ

          Route 540 West (CR540 becomes Landis Avenue) to Gate at East
          Avenue.

 

     From Cape May Area:

          Route 47 North to Route 55 North

          Route 55 North to Exit 32A (Route 56 East-Vineland)

                  Route 56 East (Landis Avenue) to Gate at West Avenue
